GoRules Editor
Visual business rules management, no developers required. We deploy and support a self-hosted decision editor built on GoRules/ZEN: business logic you can change without a deployment.
Often the most expensive part of automating business logic isn’t the calculation itself. It’s that every change to a condition (“raise the approval threshold”, “add a new pricing tier”) means editing code and shipping a release. GoRules takes a different approach: rules are assembled visually as decision tables, graphs and expressions, and a separate engine executes them, with no developer needed for each change.
We’ve deployed and support a self-hosted GoRules editor, an open-source web application for building JDM (JSON Decision Model) files: portable rule files executed by the ZEN Engine, which is written in Rust and has bindings for Node.js, Python, Go and other languages.
What it gives you
- A business analyst or manager changes a condition in the visual editor — no release, no developer.
- Decision tables, switches and expressions on a single canvas — logic reads like a diagram, not like code.
- Rule models are stored as portable JSON — they can be embedded into any system via the SDK.
- Fully self-hosted — your rules and data never leave for third-party clouds.
Our role
- Deploying and configuring the editor and engine on your infrastructure.
- Building initial decision models to get you started.
- Supporting and updating the environment.
Who it’s for
Companies whose business rules change more often than their code releases — pricing, approval conditions, routing criteria — and where that has become the bottleneck in their current automation.
